On Sunday, April 22nd, START is hosting the Earth Day Culinary Celebration at The Studio on Gulf and Pine on Anna Maria Island from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Be sure to join us for the festivities featuring delicious seafood selections from The Sandbar Restaurant, a special Door Prize drawing and some unique silent auction opportunities. Tickets are available at $30 each at

Proceeds for the event will go to help support START’s Gulf Coast Oyster Recycling and Renewal (GCORR) Program that keeps used shells from participating restaurants out of our land fills and uses them to start new oyster reefs. Oysters are a valuable marine resource because they help clean our waterways by filtering out nutrients that cloud the water. Just one oyster can filter from 9 up to 50 gallons of seawater a day.
