Start’s new Red Tide & You PowerPoint presentation has been attracting new audiences from Manatee County to Englewood. The presentation has been seen by service clubs like the Kiwanis Club on Longboat Key and the Rotary Club in Sarasota and neighborhood groups like Village Walk and Glenridge in Palmer Ranch.
The people who have seen the presentation tell us they were impressed with the show because it takes a fresh look at the causes and potential remedies for controlling red tide and shows them how they can lower their own nutrient footprint in our waterways to help reduce the excess nutrients that feed red tide and other harmful algal blooms.
